Our team at XR Elements leverage a combination of Microsoft tools to deploy and customise Dynamics 365 and surrounding technologies. This supports our proven delivery and project success. These tools enable our team to maximise communication, effectively plan projects, properly test applications and automate developer tasks.
Our Tools For Success
To maximise communication across internal and external stakeholders, XRE adopts one or more Teams channels as our primary communication method. All communications are grouped and easily referenced, files are stored in a single location, a Wiki can be developed for project team members on how-to’s, video conferencing/screen sharing is also available and meetings can be recorded for later referral.
Our team leverages Azure Boards to plan your project, provide traceability and accountability to tasks and discuss migrations across project stakeholders. It covers agile planning, work item tracking and visualisation and reporting tools. Work items, backlog items, sprints, queries, calendar and estimates can be viewed for each sprint or an overall view of items.
XRE uses Azure TestPlans so that external stakeholders can effectively test their applications. This test management solution provides all the capabilities required for planned manual testing, user acceptance testing, exploratory testing, and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
Azure Pipelines enables XRE to build, test and deploy with all languages and on all platforms. It provides us with automation to save time and streamline activities. Using pipelines, our developers can automate many of the design processes, including defining builds and their steps, creating test instructions and managing simultaneous releases.

Agile Delivery Method
We have been delivering line of business projects for over 20 years, experienced in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. These days we tend to gravitate to Agile as it is more flexible in dealing with change and project stakeholders have more say in how systems are developed. By prioritising build items more often means that you get to focus on the changing needs of the business while reducing scope creep and budget overruns.
