That's Confidence

Over the years we have worked with many forms of project delivery methodologies, from Prince 2 to Microsoft's own Dynamics Sure Step. More recently we have adopted Agile (SCRUM) and we now use this across our projects as it allows your business to become adaptive to change and see progress more quickly as the project progresses.

Dynamics 365 has a rich set of designer tools that can be configured quickly to complement the Agile methodology.  In a nut shell, we’re solving issues faster and better and continually keeping you in the loop, improving the project outcomes every day.

So what is SCRUM and how will it help you?

With scrum, your project is built in a series of fixed-length iterations called sprints that give our team a framework for developing software at regular milestones.  The end of a sprint comes frequently providing a feeling of tangible progress with each cycle that focuses and energises everyone. Short sprints also reinforce the importance of good estimation and fast feedback from tests. The benefits for you and us is that quick short tangible wins inspires the entire project team and result in better outcomes.

Within SCRUM there are four simple processes that occur in order;

  • Sprint planning: The team’s planning meeting that determines what to complete in the coming sprint.
  • Daily scrum : A 15-minute mini-meeting for the team to sync.
  • Sprint demo: A sharing meeting where the team shows what they've done in that sprint.
  • Sprint retrospective: A review of what did and didn't go well with actions to make the next sprint better.
